Arid Spawn Tables

The Arid curated map ships with 450 spawn tables, 279 of which contain three or more distinct outcomes. This article explains how to read the Chance column that appears in every table and then walks through each table included in this reference, location by location. Understanding these tables tells you where specific items come from and how likely you are to find them, which matters whether you are a player planning a loot route or a server owner tuning the experience.

This article covers 26 tables drawn from the map bundle. A further 251 tables exist on the map but are not included here; the tables shown are the ones most relevant to high-traffic locations and curated loot events.

How to read the Chance column

Every spawn table is a weighted pool. When the game decides to roll on a table, it picks one outcome at random, but each outcome has a different weight. The Chance column shows the percentage probability that a given outcome is selected on any single roll.

A table with a 25.000% entry means that item drops one quarter of the time, assuming the table is rolled in the first place. A table with a 0.059% entry means that specific outcome is extraordinarily rare.

Importantly, the Chance column describes the odds inside the table. It does not describe how often the table itself is rolled. The game might only trigger a particular spawn table once per loot cycle, or only when a specific container type is opened. So a 25.000% chance inside a table that only rolls once per server reset is far rarer in practice than a 5.000% chance inside a table that rolls on every zombie kill.

The Rarity column is a convenience label assigned to each entry. It maps roughly to how uncommon the outcome is relative to the other rows in the same table, but the Chance percentage is the number that governs actual selection.

Some tables in this reference are marked with an unresolved percentage. This means a portion of the total weight in the table references a sub-table that was not present in the data bundle used to compile this reference. The percentages shown for resolved rows sum to less than 100% in those cases, and the missing fraction goes to the absent sub-table. The exact contents of that absent table are unknown, so treat the resolved percentages as the floor: the real chance for each row is at most what is shown, and possibly lower if the missing sub-table would have diluted it further.

Buildables drops

The standard sentry drops components that reflect its construction. Copper Coil leads at 32.258%, with Wrench and Metal Parts at roughly 16-26% each. The chase items are Red Circuit Board, Military Computer, and Portable Generator, each at around 3%. These three outcomes together represent the high-value scrap from a destroyed sentry, but they are rare enough that farming sentries for them is unreliable.

The makeshift variant is a flat four-way split. Every outcome is 25.000%. There is no chase item here; the table returns basic crafting materials evenly. Compared to the standard sentry, the makeshift version offers no rare drops at all, which makes it a poor target if you are after Circuit Boards or Computers.

Airdrop tables

Airdrops on Arid use a layered system of sub-tables. The supply crate you see on the ground is the result of multiple internal rolls across guns, proper gear, supplies, and food.

The MKP sits at 12.500%. The bottom end is where the rarity lives: the MI10 and Nemesis together account for about 12% of outcomes, and the Nemesis Prototype appears at just 0.059%, making it a true chase item for players who open airdrops repeatedly.

This table bundles gear, consumables, and a small chance at direct weapon drops. The top four rows -- both ammo crate types, Thermobaric Grenades, and Gunpowder -- each sit at 14.493%. The Armored Vest Mk. II and Heavy Military Helmet follow at 11.111% each. Breaching Charges and Explosive Compound appear at roughly 4.8% each. Firewater, the only Mythical entry in this table, shows at 1.610%.

The weapon rows at the bottom are notable because they are the same weapons that appear in PS_Airdrop_D_Guns_0, but at dramatically lower rates. The Nemesis Prototype here is 0.002%, compared to 0.059% in the dedicated guns table. This means the "proper" airdrop crate can drop a weapon directly, but it is overwhelmingly a gear and supply crate, and you should never count on it for a gun.

The Kasov appears here at 2.243%, making the airfield lockers a source for low-tier firearms, though a rare one.

Showing the 18 most likely of 57 outcomes.

The bunker zombie drop table is distinctive for its Dogtag dominance. Exactly half of all rolls produce a Dogtag, which is unique among the tables in this reference. The remaining 50% of rolls are distributed across 56 other outcomes, many of which sit in the 1-3% range. Ammo Belt appears at 2.597%, and several magazine types -- Pistol Ammo Box, Swift Mag, Intermediate Ammo Box, Zolash Mag -- are scattered through the low single digits.

The high Dogtag rate means the bunker is the most consistent source of Dogtags on the map, but the sheer breadth of the remaining pool (56 other outcomes) means no single other item is reliably farmable from bunker zombie drops.

The rare munitions sub-table is the shell-and-crystal pool. AP Shell appears at 71.429%, making it the dominant outcome. Mine Shell follows at 23.809%. Cobalt Crystal sits at 4.762%, which is higher than its rate in the main munitions table (1.073%), but this table is presumably rolled less frequently than the main one.

Canned Beans

Canned Beans does not appear in any loot table on the Arid curated map. This is a real, notable absence.

Across all 450 spawn tables in the Arid bundle, the item ID for Canned Beans was not found. This includes the airdrop food crate (PS_Airdrop_Food_0), which carries Package Of Beans at 21.053% but no canned variant. It includes the bunker zombie drops, the airfield lockers, the backrooms, and every other table covered in this reference.

The absence matters because Canned Beans appears as a staple food item on several other curated and official maps. On Arid, players who rely on canned food as a sustainment strategy will find none of it. The map instead routes food through the airdrop food crate (which provides Packages Of Beans and Chocolate), the botanist location (which provides seeds for farming), and whatever tables exist outside the 26 surveyed in this reference.

A running thread across the wiki tracks the presence and absence of Canned Beans on every map. For the lore and full cross-map survey, see /lore/canned-beans-lore.

Practical use for server owners and modders

Server owners who want to adjust the Arid loot experience have two main levers: they can modify the weights inside existing tables, or they can redirect spawn points to different tables entirely.

The Chance column is a direct weight. In the game data, each outcome row has a numeric weight, and the percentage shown in this reference is that weight divided by the sum of all weights in the table. To make an item more common, increase its weight. To make it rarer, decrease it. Note that increasing one weight lowers every other percentage in the same table, because the pool sum grows.

The tables with unresolved fractions -- PS_Airfield_SACR (3.64%) and PS_Airfield_Supplies (4.52%) -- are worth checking in your own copy of the bundle if you are doing precision tuning. The unresolved portions point to sub-tables that were not present in the data set used to compile this reference but likely exist in the full game bundle. Resolving them gives you the complete weight picture.

For modders adding custom items to Arid, the table structure tells you where to inject. If you are adding a new firearm, the airdrop guns tables (PS_Airdrop_D_Guns_0, PS_Airdrop_Guns_0) and the airfield SACR table are natural insertion points. If you are adding a new food item, the airdrop food crate (PS_Airdrop_Food_0) and the botanist tables are the relevant pools. If you are adding a new data or electronic item, the airfield PC table, the bank, or the briefcase floppy table are the right contexts.

The bomb charge table (PS_Bomb_Charges_0) is a reminder that single-outcome tables are valid. If you want a container that always drops one thing, you can set up a table with a single row at 100% weight. The four identical rows at 25% each in PS_Bomb_Charges_0 are functionally the same as a single row at 100%, and both approaches work.

Finally, remember that the Chance column describes the odds inside the table, not the spawn rate. A 25.000% chance in a table that rolls once per server restart is fundamentally different from a 2.000% chance in a table that rolls every time a zombie dies. When tuning, consider both the internal weight and how often the table is invoked.

Coverage note: 251 further spawn tables on the Arid curated map were not included in this reference. The 26 tables shown here cover the buildables drops, airdrops, airfield, automotive, backrooms, bank, bomb charges, botanist, briefcase, and bunker locations. Additional tables governing other areas and item categories exist in the full bundle.
