Publishing
Publishing is the step that takes a working Unturned™ mod from the modder's local machine to the global community. The publishing pipeline has two principal stages: distributing the mod through the Steam Workshop, and localizing the mod's user-facing strings so subscribers in every Unturned™ language community can read the mod's items, descriptions, and prompts in their own language. This section of the 57 Studios™ knowledge base documents both stages.
The two articles in this section walk through the pipeline in order. Start with Steam Workshop Submission to learn how to prepare and upload a mod, then move to Localization and Translations to extend the mod's reach to non-English speakers. Both articles assume the mod itself is already authored and tested; for the prerequisite authoring workflow, see Gun Mod Tutorial. For the downstream subscriber experience, see How to Install Unturned Mods.
